Why do some children overreact to sensory input while others barely notice it?
Sensory modulation refers to the brain's ability to regulate and organise responses to sensory information.
This course explores the different sensory modulation patterns, including sensory over-responsivity, under-responsivity and sensory seeking. Participants will learn how these patterns influence behaviour, participation and emotional regulation and gain practical strategies for supporting children more effectively.
