Occupational Therapy
At Little Lives, our occupational therapy services help children develop the foundational skills they need to participate confidently and successfully in everyday life.
Through play-based, child-led therapy, we support toddlers and young children who may experience challenges with sensory processing, emotional regulation, attention, coordination, motor development, self-care skills, social interaction, and learning readiness.
Our occupational therapists look beyond milestones and behaviours to understand the unique way each child experiences the world. We create personalised therapy plans that build on strengths while gently supporting areas of difficulty in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.
We support children with:
Sensory sensitivities and sensory-seeking behaviours
Emotional regulation and anxiety
Fine motor and gross motor development
Attention and concentration difficulties
Developmental delays
Coordination and balance challenges
Autism spectrum differences
ADHD-related challenges
Handwriting and school readiness skills
Feeding and self-care routines
Confidence, independence, and social participation
Using movement, play, sensory integration, creativity, and connection, our therapy sessions are designed to help children feel more regulated, capable, and connected in their daily lives.
We also work closely with parents, caregivers, and schools to provide practical strategies and supportive guidance that extends beyond the therapy room.
At Little Lives, occupational therapy is not about “fixing” children — it’s about understanding them, empowering them, and helping them thrive in the world as they are.
